As you can see from the picture to the left, I like to be outside. And as you might have guessed one of my hobbies is bird watching. My background in biology and my love of animal behavior is what got me started. That and a group of friends who kept pulling me outside on those chilly mornings to join them.

My other hobbies include working out at my local Pure Barre studio, going for walks, riding my bike, reading, drawing and being creative. I seem to find all sorts of topics and activities interesting. I think it is my never ending curiosity that makes me want to read all sorts of books and write about all sorts of topics. However, my first love is science writing.

My current forms of earning a living include:
  • Tutoring English, essay writing and math
  • Proofreading legal transcripts for court reporters
